On May 31, 2018, a group of 15 guys teed it up at Waterford Golf Club for the first official outing of the WGL. Founded on principles of competition and fellowship, the league has grown exponentially over the years, reaching far beyond those few neighbors who met up for golf each week. The WGL proudly welcomes golfers of all skill and ability levels, and seeks to connect neighbors and friends through the game we all love.
The Waterside Golf League is open to all residents of Waterside at the Catawba and their sponsored guests. Regular league play occurs on Thursday evenings unless otherwise noted, and there are other tournaments and events scheduled throughout the year.
